Why can't I connect to the databases?

Answer

Common solutions for database connection issues:

  • Use Chrome.
  • Clear cache in Chrome.
  • Enable Pop-ups.
  • If using a VPN, make sure it allows for a proxy connection or turn VPN off while accessing databases.
  • If home router is owned by Sparklight or T-Mobile, contact provider and ask they turn on access to a proxy server.
  • Make sure antivirus software and network settings are not blocking proxy connections.
  • Close all opened tabs, open new Chrome incognito window and sign back into MyViking.
